Thought I'd stick a few vids up from my comp last month. Was really tight and I ended up coming 4th due to my bodyweight seemingly. If I'd got the last rep on the stone to shoulder would have made a big difference. Hunter from original gladiators came first!

180kg Dead for reps. Struggled alot more than I should have on this, was hoping for at least 12. Came 4th in this

90kg stone to shoulder for reps. Needed 6 reps to win. So close! Came joint top

90kg Floor to Overhead for reps. Came second in this

100kg Farmers into 110kg duck walk. Came second to hunter by 0.25 seconds!

Couple of other vids but didn't want to bore people!

Roughly the same events/weights as last time. You in?

Do it mate!

Although mate a couple of things feedback wise. I thought the way the winner was decided wasn't great. Hunter got more reps etc with heavier weight on every event apart from stones than the guy who won the under 90, yet he still beat him overall! Thought it would have been better just to have separate winners. Also one of the guys I spoke to in the heavies said he'd competed in Londons strongest man under 90 and come third to tom Hibbert! I don't really think a novice /first timers comp was the right place for him! Nice guy though

That would have been brilliant! Keep us updated if there is mate. Would love another crack!

Really good comp mate. Was great going up against hunter!

How come it's so early mate? So just to clarify (apologies if I'm being thick). But for each event women, then, u 90, then over 90 lift. Then on to next event? You can tell it's my first comp!

Will do. Brilliant cheers mate. I hear the sled is broken and being replaced by side or front hold? Dam!

Ok thanks mate. So what sort of time will the over 90s be starting roughly?
» Novice/First timers comp in London (Go to post)20-08-2013 @ 17:00
Hey mate. Was just wondering if the under and over 90s will be running at the same time? Or one after the other?
