Chip shop, pie shop, now Chinese. Good lord, I have counted my blessings (and there was three) :-)

No Olympus yet I assume?

Our managers insist that cameras are switched on for that reason, in fact if someone does revert to their avatar the meeting is stopped and they are told to put their camera's back on before the meeting can progress.

I do like to have the odd meeting naked apart from a T-Shirt. Helps me remember that they only pay for what's above the desk. Also helps me disguise mid meeting furious masturbation for a bad case of athlete's foot, which can only be a positive thing.

Have Perkins said that you will be going back in at some point Pete? Many CEOs are openly stating that they have found themselves with unwanted real estate now have have realised that WFH is not only viable, but preferable.

How you doing Pete?

I'm an Audible subscriber now, and quite a heavy user. Listen in when I drive, cycle, run and walk. Anyway, there's a Sherlock Holmes collection narrated by Stephen Fry. Never been into Sherlock Holmes, but don't know why. Or Stephen Fry. However it is one of the highest rated audio books on there, and I've found these ratings to be quite accurate. I have enough Jack Reacher to hold off for a short while, but I can see me succumbing at some point this year. I imagine it will be like a posh wank, in that I consider it a bad idea up front, but quite enjoy the reality of it.

I can't suggest it now as you seem to have beaten me to it, should we offer it to all comers d'ya think ?

I merely suggested that if you did suggest it that I'd look forward to it, just like 2 eyed Williams. And I will. We just need Boris to give us a date now and hope that the Olympus survives the apocalypse in the meantime. Throw it out there for me. Be good to see some old faces.

it could be a whole lot better but it isn't too bad.

Be mindful of the first part of your comment and focus on the second. They are strange times indeed, but we will endure.

Even us speccy bas***ds have our eyes on the front of our face so that we can look forward. If you were to suggest a one off Olympus chippy Saturday Sugden reunion once all this apocalypse s**t is past us all I know I'd look forward to it. And we help the local economy. Eco f**king warriors the lot of us. Happy

How do Pete. Happy birthday for the recent anniversary.

I think I remember that night out. Birmingham iirc. I had a mutual mastabatory session with a lady named Caroline behind some curtains in the intermission at a comedy club type place. It may have been the comedy club. I forget. I remember Caroline because she was sweeeeat. It was summer too. I think Joe sorted the hotels so he had an incling as to where he was going.
The Olympus was some gourmet chippy ok.

Hope all’s well.

Nothing published yet. Apparently they are waiting to see what the reinfection figures are like once Wuhan has it's population mixing a bit more freely. Time will tell I think.
It's harder work than being in school, with worse outcomes, but that's why we need schools. Hopefully we will continue to provide something our parents and boys continue to value in the interim. I think we will.

It's good that you can at least carry on though. Do you think that this could bring about a culture change and a different way of doing things for your industry or will it be back to BAU once everything is lifted?

I'm pretty much the same, but I'd replace convinced with concerned, at this stage at least.
There's a lot that doesn't add up to me.

How long is your work closed for Rick? I believe that imperial college are planning a 12 month shut down with a 18 month contingency.
Any plans to remote teach?

"Some 47 million Spanish residents have been banned from leaving home, with a few exceptions for emergencies, going to work and essential errands.

The Spanish government said walking dogs was one of those errands, but some people are reportedly taking advantage of the exception – taking lengthy strolls, socialising in public or masquerading stuffed animals as real pets.

A video shared by Jupol, a Spanish police union, on Twitter appears to show a man walking through the street with a toy dog on a leash as a police car pulls up alongside him."

I think you could be correctUnhappy

Sure you'll feel a ton better for it (& that you do already).

Have you brought your calories down in the same macro ratio or changed this in some way?
