Sam he has surpassed you on bench at your best. No way he benches any less than 255 lol

Too much insulina lol

It looked slightly better than Thorís benching. Interesting...

Looked strong as f**k.

Not Ed strong but better than other recent strongmen.

He has put up a 500lb bench for 5 on youtube.

Who Said Shaw can't press?

I agree, maybe Licis in 3rd.

Thor definitely wins!

As we know who will win, who do you guys think will finish 2nd and 3rd?

Me too. If I hadn't got out the sport when I did I'd have been f**ked. However, I totalled 1000kg, and can still lift recreationally and enjoy the rest of my life. My only permanent injury is the knee blowout from my strongman days that will need a knee replacement one day!
Looking at this list does make me want to retake the top spot... just a little, but it won't be happening for reasons mentioned above.

You made the right call.

By the looks of things young luke will just keep climbing so no point damaging yourself to keep up with him.

I see this exactly the other way. Fury will be much improved in another few months, whereas Wilder will be the same puncher he is now. If he can't keep Fury down (and I see no reason to think he can) then I just don't see what he could do in a rematch.

X2

Hopefully Wilder fights Aj next and gets knocked out.

Then the Uk has the biggest fight in years

Aj v tyson

I've watched it umpteen times now and there is nothing wrong with it in my learned.
What does happen as Tom locks the bar out, is that the ends of the bar whip slightly and do sink down ever so slightly as they settle, however there is no downward movement of the bar at the centre where the Man is gripping it.
It's a bad call from the side refs!

Bittersweet for Tom.

He gets the 1000, but is robbed of a massive total that surpasses Dan Green's best at 110.

Downward motion. General concensus is that it was just a bad bad call by the refs.

It looked bad to me. It's not like he actually dropped the bar.

I have just seen Tom's lifts.

What was wrong with the deadlift?

Are they saying he didn't control it on the way down?

I thought it looked good, but I'm not a ref.

He got it.
400/207.5/392.5
He hit 405 on his 3rd pull which would have got him 1012.5 but it got red lighted for reasons only the two refs know.

The return of the King!

Congratulations Tom!

The only problem I have with this is I don't know if he (or anyone, really) will ever be given bigger gifts in the Squat than Ray Williams.

I think Luke will surpass Ray as long as he doesn't meet serious injury. He will most likely need to move up in weight, but the guy is a genuine freak.

Lots of great lifters in the country, but Luke and Tom are genuine real elite lifters.
