Tom Platz - 238kg from 23 reps!

That is a crazy video. 23 reps is hard for any weight, let alone that kind of weight.

Maybe cause your a big guy naturally, means you could hold a lot of your strength naturally, and if you decide to go on and do more intense training, you will find that your strength will return very fast, just like muscle memory

What weight are you, really impressive strength for your size. Especially squat.

I just wanna forget comps, forget strongman and just get back to enjoying training like I used to. I'm getting there Happy
Yeah my knees feel better than they have done for about 15 years.

If your feeling good and enjoying training then thats the most important thing. Hope you have another crack at WSM, but ultimately its your decision and you know your body best. You have been one of the most consistent Strongman over the last 7 or 8 years and have always done your best. I know you are competitive and only see winning it as a success but you are probably the best ever strongman to come out of the uk and have competed in the most competitve era. Hopefully you will one day see that as a success in its own.

agree 100%
paddy is matching me pound for pound on pretty much everything and progressing as i am. No reason he cant qualify if he continues to progress.

would be good to see someone else from here make another big leap this year. His static strength is very impressive to say the least
