My target is 5.

EDIT : My target is 1 rep more that Will Sanderson! Which probably means I'm going to have to find 6 reps from somewhere!

Just saw your overhead session, can't wait to see the 110 for reps at the midlands, 5+.

Don't put pressure on me!

My target is 5. I did 3 reps with a 120 axle at St Ives Strongest Man 2009.

Again sorry to keep going on, at WSM in these days they make you squat to depth, none of this bulls**t half rep stuff like they did in the 90's! I was watching one the other day which MVM did about 420 on the squat and it was super high!

Fair point. The squats in the final of WSM 1995 were particularly high.

I know Z does more than 400 for reps with no suit! I have heard so not a definate (he's not one to bulls**t) he has done 400 for 5 with just a belt an wraps

Eek

I think Glenn Ross deserves a mention in this thread.

Also, Magnus Ver Magnusson and Gerrit Badenhorst were BIG squatters in the 90s.

Atlas Stone Shouldering

73kg x 1 x 5
120kg x 1
120kg x 1
120kg x 1
135kg x 1
135kg x 1
160kg x 1 P.B

A thing of beauty

Loading a 130 stone onto a low platform was the limit of my capabilities today. f**k knows how you can get a 160 onto your shoulder Eek

He had a suit I presume?

I'm sure he must have done, but I'd have to watch it again to confirm.

Aye, all the guys in WSM squat equipped

I was very surprised (and very impressed) to see Poundstone squatting without wraps in his heat in WSM 2009.

Was your 220 without wraps, Joni? I know that "unequipped" has various meanings! Very strong for a guy of your height!
