AWESOME, jt!! I'd manage 2 reps, maybe 3.

How come you do so much strict log?

I prefer it to strict barbell press. It doesn't put my elbows/wrists into uncomfortable positions.

Can think of a few off the top of my head who could do the opens, London way (on this forum); Wayne Cowdrey, Little Loz, Big Carl??

I'm half tempted. Events look doable. 1 rep on log. Partial dead lift suits me. Farmer's OK. Tyre doable. 2-3 stones.

Looks OK. Might be better if it was condensed down to 3 days, to aid recovery.

Work (and extreme fatigue from work) is dominating my life at the moment. Had a quick CRAP session at home. Wish I hadn't bothered!

POWER CLEAN & STRICT PRESS (clean on 1st rep only)

77 x 2
97 x 1, failed 2nd
99 x 1
101 - fail
101 - fail

Did some PLATE WRIST CURLS.

Had a play with my CAPTAINS OF CRUSH 1.5, managing 0-1 reps with left hand and 5-7 reps with right hand.

Should be able to get to gym on Monday, hopefully fresh. Plan - log or axle, farmer's dead lifts, squats, something else.

YOKE RACE (350 kg, 25meters)
MARIS ROZENTALS, LATVIA
15.23 seconds

LOG FOR REPS (110 kg)
SERGEY KONYUSHOK, UKRAINE
9 reps

These 2 don't seem as impressive as the others to me.

It would be good if there existed some official British u105 strongman records.

If you can achieve even an approximation of an Olympic snatch, your body is considerably more pliable than mine!!

If I could re-live my life I'd get myself coached as a weightlifter in my teens.

Were these the full Olympic movements? My body can't get into those positions!
