3.4.13 Session 2: Weightlifting club Warmed up with overhead squats an snatch balance Snatch I did a single on the minute for 10 minutes 40 2x1 42 3x1 45 5x1 These got better as they went on but my shoulders are still s**t. Full cleans 40x5 60x3 80x2 Singles again on the minute for 10 minutes 100 10x1 (most of these were pretty good so I might be able to do a decent clean and jerk soon) Split jerk 20x5 40x3 70x3 100x2 Singles again on the minute for 10 minutes 110 10x1 (also pretty good) Rdl's (didn't go heavy as I'm deadlifting so I just used what my mate was using 60x5 80x5 100x5 115 3x5 Front squats 70x5 100x5 115x5 140x3 160x1 (plan was a triple but this lad was videoing it so I thought id go for a PB) 180x2 (first one went up fairly easy and a few people were watching so I wanted to show off a little bit :P +5kg and +1 rep PB) Done, I'm pretty knackered now. | |||
