» How long did it take you to go from 200 kg deadlift to 260 kg? (Go to post)23-11-2012 @ 18:44
Took me about 14 months to go from 200 to 260 cos of a back injury that I stupidly trained through for ages, it finally healed up and I then went from 265 to 290 in 6 weeks which I am ecstatic about!

Have you considered knee sleeves, they'll be fine to leave on between sets

Funky_monkey said:I thought an U90 would be able to compete in an open weight comp, but not in an OVER 105kg comp. There was a woman that wanted to do men's skiing but she's not a man. Surely a pedantic answer should be no to OVER 105s but yes to opens?

Hmmm pretty sure he meant opens.

The more steak the better, get it down you!
» safety bar squats (Go to post)31-10-2012 @ 18:23
I use one for good mornings, never used it for squats, the safety bar pulls you forward so you've got to use alot of upper/mid back to keep yourself upright.

It's not gay if you don't make eye contact!

Not the biggest fan of equipped lifting but that was impressive! Favourite part was when his spotter lifted him off the ground to get his straps up on his suit.
