Friday Didn't fancy my machine work so did a dynamic circuit type thing for 20 minutes or so, burpee broad jumps, lunges that kind of thing. Then 10 minutes on stairmaster. I have a strange heart rate, I was working somewhat but nothing too intensely, checked my heart rate and it was 198. Which is higher than most peoples max at my age. I do wonder if that gives me an advantage in endurance work or not and what my max heart rate actually is. I reckon I've touched 300 when absolutely flat out at a comp with all the adrenaline going. | |||

Thursday 10:44 Log press 135x9 (Rep PB) 58s got in under 60 so very happy with that Yoke 390 4x10m Sandbag steeplechase 120/140 58s (9 second PB) Really good session. Yoke better but still a bit tilted. Will start left foot first next week, i think that will even me up. | |||

Saturday 9:45 Log press one clean 128 3x5 Axle deadlift suited 260 3x5 Felt quite fatigued but I thought at this stage just hit the main lifts and I'm good. Did my log from the chest as my biceps were pretty dead from the big effort on power stairs. | |||

Thursday 10:46 Very bad Dom's from Wednesday which surprised be but that will be my Saturday session going forward so it won't be a common theme. Log press 132.5x9 62s Yoke 370/320/370/420 1x10/3x10/1x10/1x10m First 370 felt awful with the soreness but did improve as I went on Power stairs 240x10 (Rep PB) Plan was 3x5 but I got into it and just kept going, buzzing with this as my previous best was 237x5 Done. Quite happy with that to say how sore I felt, Monday will be a good one! | |||

Was flying back in the morning so slight change around on session order. Was so up for deads and then opened my bag and realised I'd left my SBD belt at home. Well I say home I can't find it anymore! Tried to get my axle deads done on Tuesday but it was a bridge too far with the fatigue from comp, left it at 270kg as that was way too slow. Thursday Front squat 180 2x8 (Beltless PB I think) Vector jumps 8x2 Leg curl 3x10 Adductor 3x12 L-sit iso Bw 3x17s Really good session, found a cool old school gym in France with some really nice machines. |
