Formerly been a bricklayer and studying a degree in Construction Management, it would be a nightmare for me to design my own home to add with my indecisiveness when it comes to interior design. I would like a reasonable size home that is sustainable and uses low carbon technologies. I absolutely love barrel voluted ceilings, I guess the answer to the question is, it depends on location. I personally feel a building has to be sculpted into its surroundings. A contemporary modern house full of natural light that incorporates traditional aspects of workmanship.

AaronJ said:Funny story about my placement... I was a pretty lax student my first couple of years in uni, didn't really listen much. During the first week of my placement, my line manager sends me down to site to see how the contractor was progressing with the snagging. I had no idea what a snag was, but I vaguely remembered hearing about slag in one of my lectures, regarding concrete. I was convinced I had misheard my line manager and that he must have said "look over the slags". So I pop down to site, and ask the site manager to walk me round and show me all the slags. It took the guy about fifteen minutes to stop laughing lol. Haha, I've worked as a bricky before for 4 years and I've seen a lot of it.

AaronJ said: Project Management. I did an industry placement and I'm convinced it was one of my best decisions ever. Work hard and get offered a job. Which uni? Liverpool john moores, yourself? I'm really happy i've gained a placement with a top company. I'm just a bit down that I will not be able to live with my friends and I'll come back and know no one. I have to put my career first though.

AaronJ said: Mine's on the construction industry. So luckily the most primary research I had to carry out was surveys/interviews. That being said I've had a graduate job three days a week throughout my final year and got married in December. So I've had my fair share of pressure! What field, Im doing an industry placement next year in construction and then going back for my 3rd year. any advice?
» Game Console Geeks ! (Go to post) | 20-04-2014 @ 19:19
New generation ps4 or xbox one More reasonable priced: PS3 and xbox 360, can pick second hand games up pretty cheap. Note that new games will not be produced on these consoles. To be fair it is down to what you want, for longevity and perhaps save money in the long run get the ps4 or xbox 1.

Sprints at a running track are good. Try 3x3 or 4x4. Spint 100m and walk or jog back to the start. Have 2-3min rest in-between sets. Shouldn't take to long, quick and efficient.
