The lever is "stiffer" - so feels a little awkward when deadlifting.

I've just seen a review on YT where the belt has actually gone really flimsy, is this the case?

Was thinking of getting one, anyone got one?

Didn't know if to get the prong or lever. I also stuck between getting the small or medium.

Any other recommendations?

i have done 150 for 20 but i was 150 at the time. basically i thought i had s**t myself, and my leg refused to work and i had to get my dad to come a fetch me from the gym as everytime i tried to push the clutch in my hamstrings and calfs would cramp up as if there were being ripped out my legs. so i'm not doing that again

I guess for people who only do low reps it would be an enormous shock to the system.

I actually like reps on squats, however, theoretically 140 reps at for 15 reps should equate to 1 rep max of 230kg for me but it doesn't.

I can only squat, 200kg but this is due to my back been the limiting factor, not my leg strength.

I find I plateau a lot more doing low reps, and that is only do to my chest not been up.

Any suggestions?

How can I stop my back been the limiting factor over my leg strength?

Wouldn't this programme be pointless for me?

80kg for like well over 50 reps

I've hit 140kg for 20 reps.

when is this and is bar height off the floor under 9inches?

If so can't see ED pulling 440, thats just stupid. Great if he does but there is realism.

of course MR Ravans but logic tells, more expensive isn't always better.

Other than price between?

My protein total whey and milk
http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/total-milk-and-whey/...

Kinetica Whey Protein

and finally: PhD Nutrition Pharma Whey HT+

I can remember someone asking me why I buy my protein? I was like it just cheap and he then went on to try and explain there is better products.

NO but I have been called out a few times while deadlifting in commercial gyms.

You're deffo roiding.

Me: Nah mate it's not even a lot of weight.

lies

which it isn't really, but none the less just because you are not dedicated to something doesn't mean it isn't achievable.

When I DL 240 for the first time, I was like man that isn't heavy, I want 300kg club now but 1 year ago 240 seemed a long way of at 3 times bodyweight. Always wanting more.

» atlas stones vs steel toe capps (Go to post)18-06-2014 @ 13:16
To EN ISO 20345:2011

200 joule impact
and a mass of over 1000kg

The problem isn't the steel toe cap, the problem is, it misses the toe cap and hits above it.

Scaffolding is inherently strong in compression. However, I'm sure numerous members of this forum are capable of bending scaffolding around their leg or what not.

It appears to be built so high as the path can still be used, and to go over the top of a fence.

It appear to be at high risk of collapse due to the movement of people causing lateral movement. There appears to be no lateral support.

There should be lateral support added and usage government therefor the amount of people are limited to used the scaffold. It will take a reverently small amount of movement to cause subsidence.

Dan_Evans said:What was your high bar at the start of the year?

160kg so thats a 40kg increase but let's say I continued low bar and then it would be 30-40kg increase so 230/240kg.

slimsim said:Why have you changed?

If your sole purpose in this last year was to lift more weight, then YES, you have wasted it!

Personally, I think it's been time well spent Happy

Because I wanted to start Oly lifting, but it took 10 months for the club to open and now i've move away for a year.

I guess If i was the bothered I could switch back to low bar and undoubtably it will rocket again but I'm going to stick with high bar for a while. It's not like i'm ever going to enter a powerlifting competition, well maybe if my total was ever over 700kg.
