The plan was to do a triple at 120 but there was just nothing there, I'm not sure my tri's have fully recovered from last weeks hammering.
Just went through the motions after that, the dips were harder than normal too.

Split my track suit bottoms when going down for the first rep at 140, had to borrow a pair from the gym owner.

Todays training

Squats
10 x bar only
5 x 60 kg
5 x 100 kg
5 x 140 kg
1 x 160 kg
5 x 140 kg

Very disappointing.
I had every intention of doing a triple at 160 then trying a 180 pb but there was just nothing there, even the 140 x 5 was very hard.
Probably a combination of the hard week last week, training in the morning not the evening and also being on reduced calories to try and drop a few pounds before the comp.
some nice pb's why you trying to drop weight..make 90's

That's it mate, there's no need for me to be over 90 kg, I'm just carrying fat I don't need. I've only got to drop a couple of kg's though so no rush.

think you hit the nail on the head with why the squats were disappointing for you

I think the training in the morning really didn't help me but it's probably what will happen at a comp so best get used to it.
