Update, the MAX DL and HARDCORE are sold.

I'd say the Viking is more suited to under 100kg, ideally a 93kg guy. A 100kg guy might squeeze into it but it would be tight depnding on body shape. I'd recommend the manufactuers site for sizing.

The rage x is an awesome shirt, comparable to the standard KATANA. never used the Phenom so cant comment on that I am afraid.

» GBPF - Lifting as a guest (Go to post)08-10-2012 @ 20:19
I had no idea I had started such a hot topic, thanks for all the replies, it seems it is well worth me joining. Especially if I am going to get my lazy butt back into lifting in 2013.

To all of the Sugden gentlemen... Pete, Rick, Jeff I hope you are all well guys and I will be up to Manchester soon and of course will pop by to see you.

I was wondering if it is possible to pay to enter a GBPF competition and lift as a guest if you do not have a membership to GBPF ?

Wanted to do a comp at the end of the year and did not want to have to pay for a years membership plus the comp entry just for one competition, not really worried about results just want to get some platform experience back so would be happy to lift as a guest.

Thanks.
» Powerlifting/weightlifting gym in Kingston Upon Thames (Go to post)07-06-2011 @ 17:07
Checked out the website, they are about 40 miles from where I am staying which is a bit too far to travel 3 times a week to train unfortunately.

Jeff, you have hit the nail on the head.. I need squat racks and a full length bar to do power curls.

Just moved down to Kingston Upon Thames and looking online all I can see are the typical fitness gyms. Looking for a free weights gym that can cater to a powerlifter. Can anyone suggest a gym in the area? I also work in Leatherhead which is south of Kingston, so anything close to Leatherhead would also be suitable.

Thanks.

Sorry to have caused you to miss your fish supper Pete, the company was greatly appreciated. Indeed I was rusty last night, but I feel that old familiar dull pain that lets me know I have trained. Happy

Lol... Well it is just my own opinion. Never been a fan of him, must admit the rock and con air were worth a watch. Never been able to bear gone in 60 seconds for more than 45 seconds....
Then again im an Arnie fan... so im probably not the best judge, but he never pretended to be a good actor.

lets all pay homage to one of the worst lines in a film Happy (not nicks fault, he didnt write it.... but he doesnt do it any favours in his delivery).

Nice work Rickster .... Unlucky on the second and third attempts but to be expected with the amount of preparation.. there is an art to the singles.. takes a while to get used to them

Regardless, you are the champion.. and again. Well done

Cannot stand him... he cant act for s**t... dont know how he gets any work.. only film of his i have ever enjoyed was face/off and that would have been better without him.
