No apology not accepted mate we all have come accustom to a certain standard expected from the ox journal. I myself have started a petition for more content if this is not provided we will strike.

Touch wood so far mate. Its not to bad my main emphasis is squatting so that is the majority of the volume and frequency, deadlifts are only being worked a total of 6 working sets a week to keep the movement natural.

That's annoying when the spotter does that, still strong benching though.

Out of curiosity why do you have feet up on the CGBP ?

Lol cheers mate. The kneeling hip extensions are easier so you might want to start there. The big difference between the two is where you bend. If you bend at the hip it a hip extension, if you bend at the knee, it's knee flexion (slow down egghead).

lol epic fail with these even with a cushion under my knees my bad knee just cant take the pressure across the front of it just feels like a massive crunching sensation so will have to find an alternative.

Kept all the weights low as this will be my starting point and will give me plenty of time to build on.
I'm going to drop flat bench press for the time being and focus mainly on incline press.

» Why Strength Sports & Your Earliest Memories Of Weight Training ? (Go to post)10-05-2018 @ 14:45
Had done some form of training from 16 but was mainly based around cardio, push ups, sit ups etc for the Army then i think 21 or 22 tried a little bit of lifting in the barracks gym and enjoyed it.

I have been doing it on and off ever since (32 now) i get phases were i get fed up of trying to get strong and decide to try a bit of body building after a couple of weeks over 10 reps i soon realise i prefer to strength train lol.

Im not as strong as i used to be and probably wont compete again but as long as i can get my weight down and slowly progress and get stronger at certain lifts im happy.
