» 50kg one arm dumbbell pressing - unusual technique (Go to post)02-02-2013 @ 16:22 


I can't seem to get any leg drive if I balance one end against my head/neck like most people do. This means I have to press the dumbbell over a longer distance but my legs are doing almost all the work.

Is my technique transferable to giant dumbbells?

Id maybe run it twice or 3 times a year. Same as everything, itll lose its ability. If we could all add 90kg to our squat per year, we wouldnt be squatting what we do lol.


I added 90kg in my first year and was hoping to do it again. I miss the easy days.

I'll try it for a few weeks and see how I get on. Think my deadlift will suffer but I'm goona give it a crack.

This routine will really add 10kg to my squat in 6 weeks? Can I keep doing the routine over and over and add 90kg in a year? That sounds insane but I'm up for trying it.

Is it possible to train deadlift at the same time?
