if you read the programme it says that the volume phase of the split, i.e. what you've just done, it designed to increase muscle mass and perfect form.

It's a great split that for raw lifters and one that's very under used.
Watch your bar path on the squats, it should be as close to straight up and down as possible.

mechanically, its better to go wider long time. however i think to start with its best going semi-sumo and once you get good at it start inching your feet out a little wider over time. advice from konstantin pozdeen. its what i will start doing after this weekends comp as i struggle to get into a good starting position for conventional.
