the comp adrenalin really cant be underestimated. i couldnt get to sleep the night after my last one the other week. buzzing for several hours after, although tired and sore.

good read, just what i was looking for as i've just ordered one. its my adductors that need the most work, any pics of how to hit that area? i'm guessing its going to involve looking like i am humping the floor!

only done 3 meets but i agree with pretty much what the others have said here. they say something you can do for 3 in training for your openers but i tend to go a little higher than that. how you react to being in a comp and in front of a crowd will be person specific. i find i do lift more at comps though.

good article. shame whoever proof read it didn't do it properly though.

"Only one rule violation occurred during all participantsí squatting performances regarding the depth of the squat. The rules state that the lifter must squat below parallel so the top of the knee is lower than the hip joint."
» anyone seen any decent deals on olympic plates? (Go to post)04-12-2013 @ 16:43
no room for a platform, rubber mats are a good shout though. ended up getting the 25kg ones of these, free uk delivery and 5% discount code popped up at checkout.
