personally, from my limited experience, no. 2 different types of lifting. lifting equipped makes you better at lifting equipped and lifting raw makes you better at lifting raw.

are the inzer singlets decent for wearing over a bench shirt in comps or does anyone recommend any others? currently got a strength shop one and i find it really awkward.

only trouble is there isnt always a spotter about. other thsan that its great. train when you like, own music, no dickheads.

i work split shifts in a stifling kitchen so have 2 baths/showers a day anyway so that's an issue. also makes it reasonably easy to train before work and during my time off in the afternoon. i think i might stick with it for bench and see how that progresses, then maybe look at doing it with other lifts.
