| Here are some details for BSM U105's that Louise Blades put up I will be running Britain's Under 105kg Strongest Man on Sunday 27th July 2014 at Kelburn Castle and Country Park, Fairlie, Scotland. Top 3 from Scotland, top 6 from England, top 3 from Ireland and top 3 from Wales will all qualify. Top 5 from the Britain's will be invited to the United Strongman Worlds. I will make an event page, but just giving everyone a little heads up on the events:- Event 1: Log press 100kg, 115kg, 130kg for reps Arnold style (one rep of the 130kg is worth more than any amount of reps of the 115kg and one rep of the 115kg is worth more than any amount of the 110kg) Event 2: Max deadlift Event 3: Loading medley (110kg, 120kg, 130kg, 140kg cylinders onto 42" platform) from a distance of 5 metres Event 4: Shield carry 150kg shield 40mtrs (20mtr turn) Event 5: 130kg farmers 40mtrs (20mtr turn) Event 6: Stones 120kg, 130kg, 140kg, 150kg, 160kg, 170kg loaded onto 52" barrels Max time on all events is 90 seconds The event page will have all the details. | Last nights Training 10/01/14 18" Deads 100 x 6 140 x 6 180 x 3 belt on 220 x 3 230 x 2 PB 240 x 1 PB Push Press 60 x 6 80 x 6 90 x 3 100 x 3 100 x 3 100 x 3 Axle Cleans 60 x 4 80 x 4 100 x 4 110 x 2 120 x 1 No been in here for a while still been training hard finding time with little one 2013 was one busy year with having our little boy , Getting Married , and starting new job offshore , Team Hulk Gym Closed due to location and was a little small at 1200sq ft but Building up a lot of strongman kit again and just waiting for the right time to open a new TEAM HULK - Strongman / Crossfit / Weights gym close to the city centre just got to choose the right unit in the best location this time! Just enjoying my training nothing serious and plan to do a few comps this year prob Opens as BW is 112kg at the Mo , Also helping my training partner for the SSM U105's this year Huge talent and really do think he will do well being his 2nd Comp . Prob be in now and again on here with being offshore and finding time  | |||

Post Edited: 10.01.2014 @ 20:27 PM by royalmarine29 Any Edinburgh boys or anyone passing through that is doing the Quals in march or any other comps and looking to train some events message me there is no cost.... as we will be training events every sunday 12.00I have the Car side handled DL frame , loadable farmers , 150kg loadable farmers , 380kg yoke , Stones 100kg up to 175 kg and a load of other kit if you are doing other events all training is done outside. Until we find a new unit close to Edinburgh city centre which will be soon ! Cheers | |||

| Aye im enjoying offshore should have done it 6 years ago... And as you say if big Luke can do it then there is hope don't know how he does it or just smashes the training when home need to ask him , Aye be good to see you at the classic, Guessing you have a busy year of working away out the country | |||

| Hey Benvie cheers bro , Comps this year will need to sit down and have a look at what there is bud prob do Salt Ayre Classic for sure also see what Scottish opens there is but just going to get a yr of good training under my belt with working offshore and little one is always going to be hard ...
