03/11/2013 - Deadlift / Squat Deadlift 60 x 10 100 x 8 140 x 6 170 x 4 200 x 2 220 x 1 240 x 1 250 x 1 260 x 1 Squat Bar x 10 50 x 10 80 x 8 110 x 6 140 x 4 170 x 2 190 x 3 The 190 was for 2+ felt like I was good for 4-5 reps but I hit the rack on third rep really had to twist and fight to catch it took lot out of me so left it there. Feel like I'm not 100% but rapidly approaching it hopefully be in good form for last comp of year on 23rd. Leg Press 100 x 10 200 x 10 300 x 10 350 x 10 Never done much leg pressing before as I mostly train in home gym. Pushed it we bit today on it. Also changed the technique used the top part of the foot rest and it seemed to bring hamstrings into it more. | |||

Post Edited: 02.10.2013 @ 16:40 PM by rabn21 http://www.sugdenbarbell.co.uk/forum/How-high-is-18-inches?-12929 all you need to know about deadlift heights above lol it has been too long since I varied deadlift heights that I can't remember exactly the figures but few years back would have had about a 250kg deadlift and done 270 x 3 reps on pull from blocks prob close to 18 inches. Never tried to maxed out for a single on blocks tho at that time but I dont remember ever failing a deadlift that I got over the knees. | |||

The standard of lifting was very good. Hope to make the team for next year! 30/09/2013 - Squat Had to cut the session short but got some good work in. Mainly this was about the warmup which is helping how I feel while squating and also helping improve my flexibilty in general.
