The guys from Assylum Gym in Newtownards (NI) were hosting a deadlift party yesterday. Basically an open day for anyone who wanted to come up and get a bit of lifting in or wanted to try lifting for the first time. Decided to go up and see if the recent form in training could produce a PB Deadlift. Had a cracking day! New PB of 270kg and felt like there is a wee bit more there in the tank.

Squat strength is coming back up. Will test it proper next wave. Deadlifts best they have been in ages. Think 245 for a double is a PB definitely a PB from the last 14-15 months anyway.

I had the patella tendon method done. I tore ACL and made a mess of my MCL as well. It took me a bit less than a year to get running on it but I don't think I did the rehab work as consistently as I should have so prob took longer than it should have. Didn't really have full confidence in it until prob close to two years in when I returned to playing contact sports.

I wish I had found powerlifting much earlier though as it has strengthened around the joint massively. I also wish I had found powerlifting before I completely recked most of my joints!

PP - 110 last measured in October but would guess I am up a bit on that.
Bench - 175kg in competition (185kg TNG in the gym)

Overhead has been neglected until recently so I am hoping to get that ratio a bit more evened out.

If you are talking about floor to overhead then you can probably half that push press.

Added a wee bit of weight in the squat and felt good. Up it again to the 160 kinda range next session. Bench and overhead both feeling strong.
