Bench Press
20 * 20
60 * 5
100 * 5
140 * 6
140 * 6
140 * 6 - Last rep was difficult
120 * 6
120 * 6
60 * 6
20 * 20

That'll do, any more and my shoulders will kill for days.

Get one for the guy who lives across the street as well Tony, rested somewhere horribly inconvenient to give him the motivation to move it Grin

LOL...

Well I'd rather sort this out now when it doesn't matter than get really pissed off later down the line. It's not like I titled my journal 'God of squats' now is it?

Thanks for the comments chaps. I'll go for the depth shown in the last video.

The jeans are quite baggy, certainly don't provide any assistance. I have a pair of taekwondo trousers, but being white they don't really show up. Other than that it's shorts for gymwear.

Lurkio, can you see other videos on that site? Confused

The 190 fail really sucked, but I did heavy deads yesterday and my back's feeling a bit knackered. More concerned with how crap my technique went on the attempt than failing it.

Probably not the best idea to do this the day after deadlifts, but hey-ho

Squats
60 * 5
100 * 5
140 * 2
160 * 1
180 * 1
190 F - Bar rolled forwards and pinched skin/bone which was fcuking painful. Looking at the video there was a lot wrong with it, very poor.

All views on depth gratefully received Happy

Later on I did some more:
100 * 5
140 * 2
140 * 5 - See video
100 * 5

In shorts, 140x5

Deadlifting without all that CV stuff in the background and better music would surely add 10 kg to your lifts, so plenty of potential Happy

Nice work pal Happy

Does deadlifting hurt your shoulder?

It doesn't help having all that weight hanging off it, that's for sure.

Deadlifting combined with all the arms work yesterday means they're feeling a bit tired out and need a rest. I find if I don't listen to them I can start feeling more serious pains due to overworking them.

Nice work on the deadlift, some real grit going into that. How long do you think it will take until you get to 6 plates per side? (260/573 with 20kg plates or 265/585 with 45lb plates)

Also managed pretty much the same weight myself today, but with straps Embarassed

Looks like far too much hard work, even if I just used 45 kg as suggested. Even back when I was crazily fit I hated circuits though, always ended up feeling nearly dead before I was halfway through.

Deadlift
100 * 5
140 * 5
170 * 3
200 * 1
220 * 1
240 * 1 - Grip having trouble for some reason, no problem with 255 a couple of weeks back
250 * 1 - Used straps
255 * 1 - 5kg PB Happy using straps again though

My right shoulder is feeling overworked again now, so a day off tomorrow I think. I didn't feel like going for 260 today, but it's likely there for the taking.Confused
