Seated dumbell press held in log position 8x15kg 8x20kg 6x25kg 6x30kg 5x32.5kg Fx37.5kg Incline bench width of overhead press grip 8x60kg 6x70kg 4x80kg 2x90kg. *PB* Farmers walk 30m x 35kg each hand 30m x 75kg each hand 30m x 95kg each hand 15m x 105kg each hand 15m x 120kg each hand *PB* heaviest ive done for any kind of distance and could of gone further. Did a medley for some cardio work 30m with 50kg barrel 5 x 300kg tyre flip 30m 85kg farmers W Did it in 1min 22 seconds but was blowing out my arse at the turn on farmers for a good while Squats - restarted wendlers 531 5x60kg 5x80kg 3x100kg 5x120kg 5x125kg 10x135kg *PB* Straight leg deadlift 5x100kg 5x140kg 3x160kg 1x180kg *PB* Fx200kg should of done 190 but was chasing 200 haha Then did some circuit training for 15mins or so | |||

Weighed in today at 102.7 clothed Very warm morning at the junction and everything was being done outside 1st event - 110kg farmers 15m Got hold of these really well and managed to get a time of 7.56 I think which was a second less than the best I'd done before so well impressed was around 7th overall in this event. 2nd even - overhead medley The barrel was taken out of this event so just the 100 axle. 55 dumbell and 90kg log Started of and the axle flew up felt really good then into the dumbell which was massive with gyres on never pressed andything like it before and trying to get it right was difficult. Failed first time on this but put it back down reset and up it went. Then went into the log and that felt comfortable aswel, back into the axle and got it up on second time of asking with a struggle to lock out, back into the dumbell with 15 seconds left and just couldn't get it up managed to get 4 up not sure on positioning on this but it moved me closer to mid table. 3rd event was axle deadlift. Had really struggled on this event in training and was the one I wasn't overly looking forward to it. Got behind it and the first few felt really comfortable. It then got harder and I missed my 6th rep getting it up to the top but not being able to hold on, managed to get one more out and finished with 6 reps which was happy about as previous best was 3 reps 4th event and the moving medley Yoke felt like it wasn't there on my back nice easy pick up got it comfortable and started to move well over the line and into the sandbag, well I don't know what it was but I couldn't get a grip on it managed to get it up but it slipped through my hands half way to platform and I was just moving it but couldn't get grip got it up to the platform but I still couldn't get it up onto the platform, wrestled with it for what must of been 80 seconds but couldn't load it time up- dissapointed at the as felt the yoke and frame were good for me. 5th event atlas stones Opted for the 110 as had never done more than 100 stone before as that's biggest at the gym where I train. Got it over 6 or 7 times I'm not sure but it felt really good and maybe should of gone for the 120 stone o well you live and learn Overall had a great first competition and get some Pbs along the way was a roasting day and I'm suffering with sunburn on face and neck now. Alot learnt and can't wait to get the next one entered | |||
