Hello everyone! I recently qualified for the AWPC Bench only world champs. However my shoulder is and has been for some time ..completely f**ked. I believe it's rotator cuff related and am doing physio type stuff which does help during day to day life but when it comes time to train the pain is pretty heavy. I have no intention of pulling out under any circumstances but is there anything beyond ibuprofen I could consider?? Remember I'm ABPU lol! Any input would be HUGELY appreciated lads! Thankyou

I know what your saying mate but Belsak beat him in the truck pull! How is that even possible he must out weigh him by 60kg! MJG said: I don't think Shaw is getting worse. I think others are just getting better.

In 2015 at the heaviest wsm they've had recently Shaw was unbeatable. In the truck pull he destroyed everyone being the only one to finish the course out of all the finalists. Last year in the truck pull he came 5th I think and 4th this year. I don't know if his hamstring has caused a lot more of an issue than he makes out or if he just peaked in 2015 and is very slowly declining now? I believe it was in 2015 when he hurt his hamstring for the first time. Congrats to Thor class act I just can't stand that little Aussie year jumping all over him every time he wins an event. Reminds me of the little s**t that used to tag onto the hardest lad at school dannyboy73 said:Quiet spaced these results with little room for change. Reads like a final results list. I doubt there will be much change after stones. Perhaps Shaw is at the point where his niggles are becoming permenant injuries? If Thor packs up WSM after the almost certain win...Shaw still has some way to go to get that record title he so badly wants. Take DL out of next years final and Kielszkowski will walk it.

I think Z will win Europe's and world's....Just sayin...He won Arnold's 2 years ago with a completely f**ked back. He won world's in 2014 when he wasn't supposed to...Just got a hunch

Hi everyone, my cousin is competing with me in a couple of weeks but he also wants to lift on the same day as me. He weighs 78kg I weigh 100kg and Sunday is 90s and 100+. Can he compete in the 90s flight while weighing 78?? He knows he's gonna get beat but doesn't care lol! Thanks for the help lads

CAJ said:Almost certain you can opt to walk out in BPU/ABPU. Personally I found the transition to a mono a piece of piss but others really struggle with it. If you don't want the hassle of having to practice I'd definitely just stick to walking it out. I'm guessing you're doing Macclesfield? Yes mate I am

Hy got a meet in a couple pf weeks with abpu and ive never used a monolift. Could this be a problem? There is a gym not a million miles away from where i live that have one, is it worth venturing over to have a go?? As you can probably guess I'd rather not make the journey but if the difference is quite severe I of course will do. Thanks chaps |
