All looks good, not sure about a possible mystery event Scott mentions on SDF though! Looking forward to starting a slightly revised training plan tomorrow. Cool

What is the best one and what size would I need? I am a shade under 6ft and weigh 100kg.

Cheers.

Yeah, I hope not too, but with there being 7 events i just wondered if there would be. I've started training for the listed events, so if there are any alterations or more details it would be good to know.

JT, could you do us lads a favour and give Scott another bell, see if he can CONFIRM that these are the events

Appreciate it mate, ta Grin

And if the date is 100%, and if there is a cut-off or not. Cheers! Happy

If the date is concrete (and there is not an elimination after so many rounds -nobody has indicated there will be but would like to know for sure) I will be driving down with girlfriend and kids and staying Sat & Sun nights.

Well done mate, solid lifting, still very jealous of your bench press! It will be nice for you to be the big beast in the U90 strongman! Will also be interesting to see how far away from bodybuilding condition you are at 90kg, as you were already looking lean a couple of weeks back.

Was hoping to come along tomorrow but can't make it. Have a great session lads, I have had a 200kg stone a couple of inches off the floor so some of you beasts should be nailing it!Wink

the 2 wild cards have already been informed

they were both in the qualifiers and deserving of a shot in the final

at this stage i think i will be watching you youngsters fight it out

yolk is one thing tyre flip and log clean are not so good for my bicep!

Who are the wild cards JT? (apologies if I missed this in the thread) I know you were at all three qualifiers, from the 2 I was involved with I would give "Solid" Andy (a close 7th at the Northern) a shot for sure, only needs to improve grip to be a top competitor.

Great effort yesterday Harris, so close with the axle deadlift and really gutsy on the yoke - you weren't going anywhere till it moved were you? lol

Well done to all competing, it was good to watch you all. The weights looked to be about right for the comp'. I fancied a go with that frame carry and the safe press, never done either of them before.

Only problem for me was the two guests competing getting scored which made things a bit confusing. Nothing personal against either man but given they were both well over the weight limit I'm not sure why they were involved?
