Fantastic day and well done to Neil for organising the show, well run and it had a nice family feel.

Chuffed to bits that i won the 105's in my first comp, dont think i would have won if Neil and Mark didnt persuade me to start on the 120 stone so big thanks to them again.

Nice to meet the competitors who were all friendly and gave some good advice.

Time to get big,put 5kg on and take this sh1t to the next level.

» Bricking it!!!!! and its only a novice comp (Go to post)23-05-2012 @ 20:32
Doing Yorkshires strongest novice on Sunday and im bricking it, it isnt helped by the fact that for the first time ever i failed the 100kg axle!!! i had only eaten a sarni all day and trained at 7.30 at night so im hoping thats the reason.#

Is this normal?

Any hints or tips?

Not a big becncher yet lol, you should enter some bench comps.
» 200 bench perhaps? (Go to post)22-05-2012 @ 12:46
Cheers, i think it helps with the bottom of the lift and getting used to holding the bar lower.

Good work, im also a big raw bench fan and if strongman doesnt go to plan (which i dont think it will) then my aim is to hit 200 in the 93kg uneq class.
