Could be mate I'm a bit torn tbh. Definitely less stress on the back so could potentially progress with doing it, but feel like am I wasting my time as it doesn't transfer to much? Also not many comps that are trapbar so I'd be stumped trying to compete still, if I ever were to of course. Don't know. Maybe a year of trapbar then see what my backs like or something?

My back is currently not painful but I am aware of quite a lot of problems with it and my hips. I've realized I have got scoliosis, plus some other issues.


My MRI showed a slight curve at the bottom of my spine too, funnily enough where I have the two bulged discs. Can't grasp how it would be possible to do heavy squatting with it, when all you invisage is the entire weight pressing on the weak part at the curve rather than through the spine into the hips. Obviously your finding good ways of doing it, fair play mate

I'm way more motivated to train through the winter than I am the summer. Hate training in the summer when it's hot, nothing pleasant about that imo
