» Low carb and tasty (Go to post)05-03-2012 @ 20:15
Tikka Masala paste & some cracked green and red peppercorns

Mix it all and spread over nice fish (pollock, monkfish, snapper and even tuna works); let it marinade for a good hour or so and add lime juice in 30mins before you cook

Griddle or pan-fry in a tiny amount of olive oil and serve with lots of steamed pak choi or other tender greens (i.e. broccoli, sugar snap peas) or a good mix of the lot

Tastes fecking great Grin

Even works well with turkey steaks and chicken fillets etc... Works with frying steak as well and that makes for a superb butty Wink

» Anyone suffer from elbow tendinitis? (Go to post)05-03-2012 @ 14:18
CitizenKane said:Cheers fellas. Im not sure that it's tendinitis rather than bursitis no, but when it flared up last year I did see an osteopath and he didn't really tell me what the pain was, but he just cracked the s**t out if my upper back and shoulders and the pain went away shortly thereafter, so it's definitely linked to shoulders/upper back.

In fact I just tried stretching my arm in external rotation against the wall in the bathroom and all of a sudden the elbow pain has eased slightly and my upper back/neck is a bit looser, weird.

Yup; called referred pain

It's s**t Unhappy

Issues with your neck/shoulders can cause issues in your lower back, arms, legs etc...

However it does sound like yours is more in situ with the elbow area so I'd go and see the same or a different osteo and get them to work it and give you an idea of what the issue could be

I went last week for my right elbow issues and I'm back there this Thursday for more cricking/cracking and acupuncture etc...

My osteo also recommended 3 mins under a hot and I mean HOT shower then 1 min under cold and repeat this 3 times every other day

Ibuprofen and icing before bed also will help to get the inflammation down etc...

Highly recommend the acupuncture also Grin
» Training times (Go to post)05-03-2012 @ 12:24
Sometime between 1530 and 1800 for me Monday, Wednesday & Friday and then 1000 on Saturday mornings

Not the best with training in the mornings; even if I've eaten well I'm still half asleep and it takes me the day and a good few meals to get to fighting fitness Grin
» Anyone suffer from elbow tendinitis? (Go to post)05-03-2012 @ 12:22
Are you sure it's tendonitis though and not bursitis?

Both have similar traits and I though that was my issue but after seeing the osteo a good few times it's come out as bursitis etc...

Worth getting it looked at by a decent osteopath to get their opinion
» anti-virus software renewal (Go to post)05-03-2012 @ 08:09
Yup...

AVG or MS's own

Also use CCleaner and Spybot Search & Destroy

These are all free and will keep your PC nice and clean....

Or

Get an iMAC and then there's no need for anti spyware, anti-virus etc.. Grin

This is what I tried on Thursday night but with 90kg and it got me breathing; HARD...

Having sinusitis doesn't help but felt great afterwards; it'll also help a lot with the clean part of the lift as well I reckon
