Looks like your journal will fit in well here, although 3 sessions per 2 pages is a bit less bulls**t than the best jorunals here. Really it should be one session per page at best Tongue

Yeah I had hoped for abit more bulls**tting and trash talk like the other journals, don't think I'm popular enough. Unhappy Tongue

Great to see you here Stephen.

Great Strongman session you had, it will build all over strength and the most important thing in Strongman Endurance.

Going to be reading your journal all the time now, and we can have a good banter.

Be good to see you up in Dumbarton when you can make it, 2009 comp looks good there is some very difficult and well thought up events in it, I think Big Andy Cairney loves to see the wee guys sufferGrin.

Thanks Stevie always struggle training by myself though, usually do more when training in a group, everything seems lighter for some reason Roll-Eyes . Hopefully make it up to dumbarton in 3weeks. Think Andy always picks good events, the u105's next year should be a cracker!

Yoke carry - simulate conans. Hmm, you're not training for a certain comp are you?? Happy Ready to go head to head with The Buzz again?? Grin

Hi Brian don't think I could handle another head to head Tongue. Not going to do the comp your thinking off, it's way too light. Tongue lol SSM u105's next year has conans so thought I'd get a head start on training for it Grin

He he, f**k off man, you're just scared of defeat! Grin Nah, good call not to do it I reckon, if you'd done it and beat me I'd have just talked behind your back about how you shouldn't hav been doing a novice comp after doing the 105's and UK qualifier Tongue

Good that events are up for 105's 2009, might have a bash at it myself Happy No stones though! Bizarre!

Pretty sure I could take you , only because of your dodgy knee though Tongue . Yea i've done enough b**ching about other's doing comps that they shouldn't so didn't want to be a hypocrite(spelling?). Although the u105's and especially the uk's qualifier were abit much for me, there's no going back now!
The events for the u105's next year look good and are abit different from the norm which should make it more interesting, hope you do have a crack at it, plenty of time to get ready so no excuses(spelling?).Happy

nice one mate!

you still planning to do powerlifting comps as well?

Where are you doing your event training at the mo?

Hi Joni,

I'll definetly still do powerlifting comps along with strongman for fun, abit on the small side for strongman unfortunatly Unhappy . Will be doing the scottish seniors in nov, I'll be gunning for a few pb's Cool and hopefully get closer to a british qualifying total Confused .

Still training events at home(renting some were is too expensiveAngry ) got alot of equipment/implements, but will need to get heavier stones, I'll try making them again with weight inside or just buy a few bigger moulds from slaters.Roll-Eyes
