Cheers guys, feeling pretty good the now and looking forward to getting back on the platform(last powerlifting comp was in april). Brian... Not really sure what to expect at the 4 nations but it would be good to nail some comp pb's, my best comp lifts are 255/172.5/237.5 best total of 660 so if I can at least equal them then I'll be happy enough although if a pb is there I'll go for it! . I'd like to qualify for the british champs next year but as I'll be in the 100kg class i'd need a 720kg total which is abit outa my reach the now . If I drop back down to the 90kg class for the Scottish seniors then I'll need 690kg which could just be doable if training countiues to go well and I have a good day! But i'm feeling great at 93/94kg so might just stay in the 100kg class and get puffing on the old crack pipe, maybe 720kg will be a possibility early next year! Main thing is to enjoy the lifting and have a laugh! Jonathan...Good to see your still about. Hows the lemon fresh lifting coming on?

I've got a 44 fury the now but I have tried a 40 katana(when I was in the 82.5's) but it was abit too tight and I didn't like it, was think of maybe getting a 42 katana or fury and seeing how i get on.

It only really leaves me 2weeks to train for itbut what the hell it should be a good laugh and then I'll do the scottish seniors on the 1st of nov. Time to bulk man! Good luck for the comps! Naw any weight I add would just be more fat, plan is to be around 93kg for the 4 nations and then drop down to 90kg for the seniors maybe

» Dumfries comp results (Go to post) | 14-09-2008 @ 21:46
Cheers Brian for posting the results. Well done with your performance! Although Bernie gubbed you on the car carry. Garry needs to forget the novices though and step up and thought Cammy gave a very gutsy performance even picking up a 2nd place in the conan's, good stuff! Everyone gave it there all and seemed to really enjoy it! I was knackered moving everything about, think it's easier to compete than help out.

Hi Stetec how'd you place overall? How about a write up of your performance through the comp? Any vids/pics? Were you the tall guy with the blue T-shirt and glasses? Has any one got the full results? I had to head off early so missed the truck pull and stones. I know Kevrs came 3rd, so well done mate!
