Don't think he's peaked that well. Think he's snatched 150 before and did he not do 189 c&j 2 years ago at the commonwealth?

Remember it's as near as dammit a stone you'll have to lose in less than a week....even if you did manage it how much strength would you have lost trying to make weight?

Cheers Mark. Wish the weather had held out abit longer...couldn't train strongman at my house due to rain so headed to Glencairn gym(less than 2 miles from my house and the weather was lovely??????) to train with Martin, Damien and John.

P/P from racks:

20x10
60x8
90x3
100x3
110x3
120x fail (pushed the bar forward and was unable to pull it back into a good line)so straight to 90x8

Hate overhead with a bar as it hurts my wrists.

1 arm DB overhead:

R/H: 45x1
55x1
60x1
65x2 fails(had them locked out but couldn't stablise the weight for more than 2/3 secs)

L/H:

45x2

Can't do these with my left!!!!

18" Deadlift:

140x3
220x1
280x1
300x1
320x1
260x8

Lower back getting pumped up but really enjoyed these.

Front Squat:

20x5
60x5
120x3
150x3

Getting tired so called it a night as had to head home and take the dogs a walk. Good laugh training with everyone tonight.

Little bit of training out in the garden tonight as the weather was great.

Deadlift:

70x5
120x5
180x3
220x3
220x3
220x3

Haven't deadlifted much this year especially recently so will have to start consistantly training it again.

Power clean:

70x5
90x3
90x3
90x3

Same again not done these much this year either so thought I'd give them ago again.

S/S giant dumbell(45kg):

R/H x5, L/H x2
R/H x5, L/H X1

Then did some bicep/shoulder rehab stuff and stretching.

Nice mess about session in the sun.

If I remember correctly I tried it and failed badly, was just a bit worn out from too many weeks of heavy pulls, will get 270 plus raw in the not too distant future though.

No doubt you will mate.
