Good few sessions mate, good to see you stay motivated despite your injury. Do you know how long it will be before you can get the arm out of the brace and start abit of movement with it?

Few sessions training stones tackyless and I'm sure the 120 will be no problem for you. Solid last few sessions.

Don't worry man I'm used to you not finishing.....training.....comps haha.

70x8
120x5
180x3
200x3
200x5
200x5

Had to go wide grip as the catchers on my bench are narrow.

Suprisingly felt ok training alone and even enjoyed it. Happy

Total waste of money for the country and only really benefited people in London and the area around it.
» 180 log c+p (Go to post)16-08-2012 @ 09:45
Tip for an easier clean would be to have the handles at more of an angle(furthest point of the handles more angled towards the floor) at the initial pick up and try to keep them pointed that way when you lap the log. This will then make it alot easier to roll the log upwards and towards yourself as you clean it.

Cheers, I just need to try to keep it going as I keep missing loads of sessions this year and not getting much consistant training done. Which has meant that I've made little to no progress at all so far this year....infact when I think about it this could be more like the last couple of years!

Trained earlier this morning at Glencairn gym alone.

Squat:

20x8
70x8
120x5
170x3
190x5
190x5
190x5

All easy enough.

Flat C/G/B/P:

20x20
70x10
110x3
130x5
130x5
130x5

All easy enough.

C/G Lat pull down:

Full stack x8
Full stack x8

Then did some bicep & shoulder rehab stuff.

Now stop f**king about and get a trainning plan sorted.....

Cheers mate. I would get serious if you'd turn up for training! Happy

Trained at mine with Martin, Damien, Ian(no.2), Lewis, Graeme & John. Great fun session as always.

O/H/P:

Ifsa log:
65x8
85x5
100x5

Medlay:

Run 1: 75kg small log + 75kg axel + 85kg ifsa log + 45kg giant d/b + 69 inch d/b fail (4 objects in 24 sec).

Run 2: 95kg ifsa log + 85kg axel + 85kg small log + 45kg giant d/b + 69 inch d/b fail (4 objects in 29 sec).

Light o/h/p medlay but good fun.

Yoke:

160kg x20m
240kg x20m
280kg x20m + 90kg FW 20m in 50sec.

Slow time at the end there but I did wack the yoke off my heal so hobbled about abit before doing the fw.

Stones over yoke:

90x1
110x1 + 130x1 + 170xfail
130x3 + 110x5
170xfail(got a smidgen off the ground)

Good to do stones again but my 170 is just too big for me to get my arms right round it....if I ever get it I'll be over the moon!
