hey did this today: PC + J 1w/ 70 1w/ 80 1w/ 90 1w/ 100 1w/ 110 1w/ 120 1w/ 125.....ties my all time PR C and J...so this is a good thing SQC 1w/ 130...easy clean but i missed the jerk PC 2x2w/ 122.5 3 lots of 1PC + 1SQC W/ 122 Rack jerks 1w/ 70 1w/ 100 1w/ 110 1w/ 120 2 misses w/ 130 5 triples w/ 110....really tough on my core... will continue to work the triples and try to up the top single for the day...would like to be able to hit 140 as a base weight before my comp in April will do Judo tomorrow, and SQ, strict OHP and block snatches on Wednesday/Thursday laters phil | |||

did some OHP yesterday: strict OHP 1w/ 135 1w/ 145 1w/ 155 1w/ 165 1w/ 175 1w/ 185 1w/ 195 3w/ 210....these were push presses and very easy....just couldn't strict press this on this day 5x3w/ 185.....will work this to 3x5 6x3w/ 160...very easy...will work this up to 3x6 will SQ tomorrow...thinking 420x6x6 would be rather pleasing! later phil | |||

hey did some OL pulls today: PS 3w/ 50 1w/ 60 1w/ 65 1w/ 70 1w/ 75 1w/ 82.5.........new PR by 2.5kg :-) PC 1w/ 80...plus jerk 1w/ 90...plus jerk 1w/ 100...plus jerk 1w/ 110...plus jerk 5x3w/ 120....really pleased by this.....will work up a bit in this set and rep range...jerked the last rep on the last set...and it was very easy.....should be working up on this in the next few months PS 2x2w/ 70 2x2w/ 72 2x2w/ 75 GHR 5x5w/BW...will work up both volume and weight on this exercise...will be curious to see how this affects my pulls and SQ. will do presses on Sat or Sun later phil | |||

hey did this today: OHP 1W/ 135 1W/ 145 1W/ 155 1W/ 165 1W/ 175 1W/ 185 1W/ 195 1W/ 210....almost got the 2nd...very close on this! 3x5 w/ 182....odd number because of a combination of pound and kilo plates 3x6w/ 158....as above thick bar DOH 5x2w/ 100kg (?)......i think the bar weighs about 20kg.......i started doing these as my grip is in fact a bit crappy and it needs work before I start Judo....not sure how i will progress but i think i'll add weight and see what happens will PC tomorrow later phil | |||

did some SQ today: SQ bar x 10 135 x 5 225 x 1 315 x 1 365 x 1 385 x 1 420 x 6 420 x 5 420 x 5 420 x 5 420 x 5 420 x 5 stretching...... the new gym has a GHR and a reverse hyper....will be incorporating these along with ab work at the end of each lower session on a rotating basis will do OHP in a few days later phil |
