thanks chaps....

Carl-the goal is make at least 115, which i think i should be able to do without too much trouble and the goal is 120kg, which s about BW...if the planets are aligned just so, then i'll try a shot at 125kgGrin

did the following today:

PP off of rack 3w/ 60, 70kg 1w/ 80, 90, 100, miss 110, 110, 115, miss 120, 120kg...this was 10kg PR, good stuff.

CGBP 3w/ 60, 80, 100kg 5w/ 112.5kg 8, 7, 5w/ 100kg...the 5 rep set is a small PR....will try and add some weight to it next week and go from there

short and sweet....i am very excited to go to the BPC this weekend!!!!!!

later,
phil.

hey,

had a quick session today:

PC 3x3w/ 95kg...easy and snappy....hopefully this leads onto a 125-130kg PC...

CGRDL 9, 5w/ 195kg...cramptastic...good stuff

grippers

figured out the benching dilemma, will bench to a top set and then have sufficent back off sets with heavy enough weights to maintain useful volume, will then do CGBP/pin press/floor press and rack PP on a separate day

later,
phil.

hey,

did the following today:

BP 3w/ 60, 80, 100kg 5, 5, 5, 4, 5, 4, 4, 3w/ 115kg.....got a few options here...

1.) keep plugging on and try for 6x5 next session
2.) add 2.5kg and go for 5x5w/ 117.5kg
3.) go to a single set of 5 and a bunch of lower volume sets to maintain overall volume, dropping reps in a natural way, by which i mean, the moment i fail to get all the reps on a set, the next set goal will be +2.5kg for whatever the previous week's reps were

you'll find out as soon as i do, haha

cable tris 40 reps

will do some box SQ and CGRDL on Thursday
later,
phil

not going to the BPC?? fair enough, i figure the concert mighta been expensive!! as it is, the ink is doing the same to me over a slightly longer period, haha...also, my ride has not materialised, but i dunno if i can be arsed, the prospect of a night out with my mates, and a few more ladies would be rather more attractive, plus i think AFA PL related travel is concerned, i might just keep it to the KC and the All England, but a session on the 20th in S'ton would be good....some sort of shirt BP and suited SQ..though i don't think i'll get enough time in the shirt for the All England, i just can't get reliable partners...though i can get my old SQ suit on my self...so i will try to go equipped in that....a 300 bench at a national meet would be the nuts!

can't wait for next Monday...five plates for reps in the DL...good stuffHappy Cool

did the following today:

SQ upto 5w/ 175kg....this ties my PR for 5 reps, will try 4 plates per side next session.....also, moved my stance in and it feels a bit better in the bottom because my power ab lets me get a bit of a rebound out of the bottom.

pause SQ 3x2w/ 155kg...easy

DL upto 4w/ 215kg.....tried and failed a fifth rep, will aim for 4 or more reps next session with 220kg!

some sort of upper tomorrow,
later,
phil.

sorry Cliff...gotta get an edge for the meet, you'll end up pressing my best PP, hahaGrin Grin
