cheers mate... had a good session today: bench 3w/ 60, 80, 100 1w/ 110 1w/ 120 1w/ 130 1w/ 137.5, touch and go, but it's the 300 barrier broken on the flat bench 1w/ 130 3w/ 120, paused, PR triple for paused stuff 6w/ 110, hard last rep 6w/ 100, very pumped by now CSR lots of sets of 5-6 reps solid session, now just rest until Saturday later, phil. | |||

did a fairly 'easy' session today: PC 60x3 70x1 80x1 90x1 100x1 110x1 120x1 120x1, this may've been a slight SQ clean, but it would've just been past the line 3w/ 110, the first and third reps were powered and the second wasn't DL up tp 5x1w/ 180...easy, as it should be bit of grip work will bench on Wednesday and then rest up for the KC on Saturday!! later, phil | |||

no, i was thinking in terms of the yearly training cycle...but your point on the non heroics seems well noted! Bournemouth meet?? gotta take notice of that when i am lifting as i would love to bench 170, but 160 would be a more realistic target | |||

that'd be right...if we have only a few guys like last time, then the warm ups will be a rising bar with people announcing when they wanna do their 1st. 2nd attempts and so on....folks normally get 3-4 attempts at lifts and fun is had by all. | |||

did a session yesterday: sq 3w/ 60 1/ 100 1w/ 120 1w/ 140, suit on 1w/ 160, wraps on 2x1w/ 180, full gear.....very easy today 2x1w/ 190kg, as above 1w/ 200 1w/ 210, better than last week 2 misses at 215....WTF,based on how easy the 210 was, i expected a damn site more today...but it wasn't to be.....will get more weight the next session for sure....as long as it come together for the AE, then it doesn't really matter pause sq tried and failed today :-( grippers felt fairly flat today...maybe lack of food was to blame, maybe it was other issues outside of the gym...who knows..but i'll get over it and come back bigger and better for sure! later, phil. | |||
