Drug users should just lift untested. However,in conversations I've had with guys who take gear who are looking into competing they usually state that the top untested guys "take everything" all year round and that they can't compete against them. This reason coupled with their opinion that drug use is rife in tested comps helps them justify their decision to compete in a drug free fed.

If someone says he's clean then I take it on his word. But if he hasn't been training long, is young,weighs 100kg or less and benches 180+ he's on my suspect list lol. Same goes for a ripped 120+ guy,or somebody who deadlifts 320+. Or the lifter who totals more in the gym and never lifts his best on the platform. These are not proof that the person takes gear its just my personal observation of gym users over the years.

Personally, I would concentrate on my lifting. There is no point worrying about who is taking what, this is out of your control. Let them get on with it, may be one day they will get caught.

Ok so I havent really trained much/hard at all since my last post.Got talked into my gyms deadlift comp.I just wondered what could i pull in 3sessions...???

Week 1 worked up to 240 single
Week 2 up to 250.

I could probably find 40+ lifters on youtube capable of an 815lb deadlift any day. Why aren't these guys dominating the IPF?
The only thing I can think of is drug testing.


Most untested lifters I spoke too say they don't want to be drug cheats in the ipf/gbpf.they would rather the drug takers in the tested feds leave and lift against them untested..let the clean lifters fight it out
