I didn't really consider the man hours required to be fair!
Maybe he sub-contracts it out Grin

Doesn't surprise me at all! Americans in general seem much better at the whole online marketing thing! People get similar for broadcasting themselves playing video games etc... As long as you're either world class and/OR entertaining in some way, be that funny or controversial!

Leeman has over 70,000 YouTube subscribers. If he can manage to convert 0.5% of these into paying fans - for his PT - combined with sponsorships, he's making bank! Then there's the fact that he undoubtedly has many followers outside of his YouTube subs.

Why do they allow competitors to consume enough vitamin-s to kill an elephant if they choose, but not have a spliff?

Has Terry posted much recently? Wasn't he talking about going 470+?

I got a '1' as a gift and couldn't close it. It wasn't too long before i could go 10+ reps with each hand though.

I skipped the 1.5 and went straight to 2.

Can do about 1 rep left hand and a couple right hand with it. Despite creating a journal solely for it, I've heavily neglected it recently. Still aim to close a 3 before I die.

Are there any other non-strongmen who would be mixing it with the top finishers here, or have powerlifters been left in the dust?

I think I have a rather obsessive personality. I hardcore eat sleep and breathe an hobby for around 6 months and then totally lose interest to the point of never wanting to do it again and it pisses me off. It seems to cycle round though and I've got used to it now. In recent memory it's been:

Lifting
Martial arts
Reading
Video games
Jogging
Lifting again
Politics
College work(wish this was permanent)
Video games again
... and it's drifted back to martial arts.

This is probably a form of autism also. At least I always have something which entertains me. I think it would be healthier though to just balance them all constantly.
» Chocolate - White, Milk, DARK? (Go to post)26-05-2016 @ 15:23
I dunno, I heard it's good in moderation, like red wine.

All I know is 3/4 of the bar is still sitting next to me! Compare that to milk chocolate where I haven't been able to leave any of a 150g bar remaining for years. I guess for that reason it's healthier at least.

So I just bought a big bar of Lindt dark chocolate (70% cocoa) because I thought I should try and mature my chocolate palate. Who enjoys it?

Now if I were to buy 100g of their milk chocolate it would have been devoured before I had even left the shop. Two pieces into the dark though and I'm not sure. I want to enjoy it so I can become a patronising chocolate elitist.

Is it like tasting Whiskey? Should it be sniffed and then allowed to melt on my tongue so I can embrace the flavours?

I'm used to sugarless bitter coffee so hopefully a dark chocolate PB will come.

In the morning the gym should be quiet, perfect for implementing the roll-down-belly technique if you fail.
