Year late but i just found this. Has anyone figured who he is? He gives his clean and jerk pb of 181 in comp. Look for the same name in BWLA and AUS rankings perhaps? Thought maybe the oly lifters here would know where to look. He works in athletics......interesting.

Sounds like there was some jealous people that made him run. People also said i was a liar and a troll.

When shane put up the scores i asked my mate and he said he couldnt see any scores there. Not sure if hes being dumb or not, getting him to end me full results would be hassel.

Plus hes really just their to watch my mate, who isnt doing great. No surprise, because he's clean.

He was texting fine, but to upload a pic or get on the net he had to keep trying differnt spots.

He is a retard though so who knows

If hes good at rugby, maybe he should focus on that over powerlifting, or just lift to supplement it? Sorry to say, but rugby is a much more respected sport with a much better talent pool, and could potentially pay the bills.

When i was 16 i was about 5'11 and 68kg, 1 off attempt at bench and muscle clean was 87 and 90kg. 2 years later 6'0 and 71kg, when i started weight training it was exactly the same, but after 6 months it was up to 120 and 122.5, only have a front squat pb from then, 140 full.

Did i read when you was competing in 82.5's, you was usually 88?

sexymikehowarth said:No disrespect intended but your lifting is far from perfect technically and this guy is gifted, determined, commited and fortunate

That doesn't mean that in the future you can do what you see him doing at the moment... In fact the opposite... He would be a great lifter to follow

Im not talking technical, just raw power improvements. I only improve about 10kg a year on most lifts and will never make these kind of crazy gains, im experienced enough to know that. He actually contacted me and gave me a lot of tips on oly lifting though. But im more intersted in gaining more strength and power in basic lifts

Its pretty obvious, guy hits a pb every week it seems.

Im jealous, i try to train perfectly and improve each year by what he and others do in a month.

2.08 guy? Ill be training with him next year.

The guy who looked to make an amazing start got disqualified after the race. I hope Adam beats them all at the trials. Some of these sprinters still getting lottery funding are a joke.

he could be anything, rugby, martial arts, weightlifting. his lifts look better than Kirkbrides who has a coach and an olympic spot.

crazy.

I cant believe he doesnt have a coach?

He doesnt have a coach, but he told me a guy who taught him some stuff recently. I forgot who it was but im pretty sure it was one of the best lifters ever. He let me see his program, it's about 10x more lifting than i do, literally.

It's working for him though, just checked my email and its actually 12.5kg improvement on c+j in just 5 weeks.

Or maybe the other guy can afford it and he can't?
That what he told you anyway

Other guy was worlds and really shouldnt have been there with his lifts, i asked before that about the Euros. He made it sound like the losing part was the bigger issue for him. Hes missing a lot of comps most people would love to do
» Clarence Kennedy - 190 C&J at 87 BW - 18 YO (Go to post)13-06-2012 @ 14:09
His mate just put a vid up, 150 snatch without straps, 160 power clean and 215 front squat.
» Clarence Kennedy - 190 C&J at 87 BW - 18 YO (Go to post)13-06-2012 @ 13:59
I asked him why he didn't do the Euros last year, he just said he would have to pay for everything himself to go and lose.

Last world champs there was another Irish guy who was about 100kg behind everyone else, not sure why he wasn't there. Maybe he just wants to train until he's world class? 12kg improvement on c+j in just the last 2 months alone!
