im working all day saturday bud was gonna train sunday morning...

Sunday should work for me so I might come down then.

Could do with having a practice on the log, yoke and farmers.
Maybe even duck walk if theres time but that is so much of an unknown I might just leave it to the day.

(Almost made a really bad typo but thought it was funny.
I'd originally typed "Dick walk"! Now that sounds a proper gay event.)

How long you expecting the comp to last for roughly Rich?

Also are any lads going this Saturday to try the equipment?

There was actually a bicep curl event done not so long ago.
I am sure it was in Glenn Ross's UK's strongest man comp.

Athletes were tied to a pillar with a belt to stop them cheating it with a back swing.
I thing the equipment was a long bar with a milk churn fixed on either end.

Pretty sure Glenn won the event.

Me and my mate are both under 100kg so you won't be the smallest there.

This looks a really good comp lads, I'd be well up for a practice session.

Is the log press from the floor for ever rep or just the first one?

Are there any places left in the novice? Is there a limit as it looks like 26 people are down already.

I've just made one myself and it cost just about £115 in steel and £10 in paint so I'd say that's a bargain.

The one I built looks a lot sturdier than that though. I'll get a pic uploaded see what you lads think.

Is this the same comp that has been held at Litchfield rugby club in previous years?
