First time doing squats, thanks to neil for guiding me through them.

Deadlift 18/1/2012

My back was still really aching from fridays session so i expected to be weak in this session.
Also, for the first time i deadlifted without shoes on which was more comfortable.

130 x 1 (I wanted more than 1 rep but felt like my energy was sapped after 1st rep :S)

60 x 13 (intended to do 20 but chest was killing after 13th. Maybe need to work on reps a bit more)

After this session I have decided to try and get more reps on 120 for a couple of weeks before going for a new 1rep max

Deadlift 13/1/2012

I was going to have the day off but had a sudden urge to do deadlift ha.
Decided to work more on reps a bit lower weight than at my maximum. 6/7 weeks ago i couldn't even do more than 140 for 1, but did more than it for reps today. This was pleasing as it was my second deadlift session of the week and my back was still a bit tender from the first

Went into this session with my head elsewhere due to problems the night before!

Lack of sleep, lack of food, lack of motivation

120 x 1 (Reasonable but wasn't pressed as easy as previous weeks)

115 x 1 (initially was aiming for 3 but the first rep proved too much)

Finished off with half an hour of triceps on the cables.

A demotivating session with not much to take away from it, but I guess we all have those now and again ey?!

156 Fail. (Lifted it to my knees and could've locked out but didn't want to risk a back injury as it felt unpleasant.)

Deadlift

155kg was still on the bar from the day before so i thought, sod it, why not have another go.
Without a warm up, stretching etc. lifted 155kg - PB lol
