Please don't take this the wrong way! well going too say it anyway!

THIS IS STRONGMAN BE IT FATTIES OR 90KGS ITS STRONGMAN THE WORD MAN (hehehe) biteing yet!

strongman is for man not boys/girls as I have said it the pass, you have to be in it to win it. or to be the man beat the man.

if you compete and pull out after event one nobody going too say anything, what i'm trying to say you got too try first than you may be able to win, but the battle isn;t with the other competitors its with your mind & body, thats your first battle to win!

sorry if no one understands my bull s--t

Its a very BIG wooden log, heavier on one side just a little, but makes for good lifting.

I have being up yard today and have checked equipment and weigths:

The handles on frame are 17.5ins off floor.

The platfrom height will be 4''6 heigh ish
loading items are:
small keg 70kg
tree stump 85kg
sandbag 95kg
large keg 105
(we also have a two large 125kg, if you want too use than)

The forward hold kegs are now 16kgs

tyres are 350kg ish

I just need to sort oly collars out and we'll have a press medley: (but to keep you lot happy I'll use the wooden log in medley if we sort collars. so the weights would be:

small keg 70kg
Pendululum press 95kg
wooden log 100kg
Axle 110/115kgs

This will look awrsome on TV.

Hope to see you all Saturday, PLEASE BRING MANY MATES WITH YOU!

Never thought of it like that Bob, sounds like a solid piece of advice there (you could have PMed it to me instead of letting all the other mofos in on it Grin )
Macca I went for and got a PB squat 4 days before the unit 20 so I have already learned that lesson... Grin

Next time I will, I never liked resting the week before be it weightlifting, powerlifting or strongman, we always did the same sessionswith min 40kg are bar.

Resting for week does your head in you thinking of the day and not doing anything for it so you get dout in your head, keep muscles moving.

to you all just finished up the yard getting kit ready, I have broke the oly collars for the axle lift so Press medley maybe change SORRY! may use Big wooden log
