Shoulders often feel weird after a few consecutive hard sessions, rest a couple of days and they're good as new usually!

You should have hitched the deadlift if it wasn't coming clean though! Lol

Bench:

(Elbows tucked in style)

50 kg x 5
70 kg x 5
90 kg x 5
92.5 kg x 5

102.5 kg x 4 fail 5

Form went to s**t on the final set, completly forgot about digging into the bench with my lats and tucking my elbows etc. I need someone to cue me ideally

High bar squat:

40 kg x 5
70 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
120 kg x 5

130 kg x 5 good form
140 kg x 5 pretty good form
140 kg x 4 failed 5

Could have lifted the 5 th rep with my back, but didn't want to pull a muscle again so dumped it. On the plus side I don't have any back pain from Tuesday anymore!

Low bar:

70 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
110 kg x 5
120 kg x 5

Power Clean:

60 kg x 3
72.5 kg x 3

87.5 kg x 3 PB (also a new 1RM)
87.5 kg x 3
87.5 kg x 3

Last set was the easiest. However as I catch the bar, rather than dip slightly, I seem to put my right foot forwards and take a staggered stance to lower myself to drop down to catch the bar.

Deadlift:

Just wanted to check my back pain had actually gone, so did some light deadlifts

100 kg x 5
140 kg x 5

No pain at all unlike Thursday

Chin ups:

9 (sweaty hands)

Front squat:

Haven't done these for a while- easy enough

Low bar squat:

60 kg x 5
80 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
110 kg x 5

Lower back was feeling a little sore during the 110 set. (Think I pulled a muscle due to poor form on my 155 kg squat on Tues)

Deadlift:

Back felt sore bending down to put the plates on

70 kg x 5
120 kg x 5
140 kg x 3

Left it there, back felt vulnerable on 140 and didn't want to aggravate it. Going to use impecable form for my squats on Sat, don't want this to turn into anything more serious.

Lots of hard work going on with the bench press mate. Sounds like muscle junction could be more of a business opportunity if you charged membership!

Going to be a bit pressed for time tomorrow morning, so did the upper body stuff today instead.

OHP:

40 kg x 5
50 kg x 5
60 kg x 5

72.5 kg x 5 (Paused)
72.5 kg x 5 (T&G)
72.5 kg x 5 (T&G)

Volume PB, 75 kg next time

Push Press:

50 kg x 4
70 kg x 3
80 kg x 3

92.5 kg x fail first rep, got the second failed the third, racked
92.5 kg x 2 (both grinders at the top)
92.5 kg x 1 (grinder), fail 2

Plenty of leg drive was there, but no strength to lock them out! That and the fact I did 3 x 5 instead of 1 x 5 strict before made it harder. Repeat for 92.5 for 3 sets of 2 next time.

Wide pull ups:

11,8,7

Skull crushers:

EZ + 20 kg x 8
EZ + 30 kg x 7
EZ + 25 kg x 8

Facepulls:

Worked up to 90 lbs x 10

Left arm machine press:

Warmups felt strange, shoulder still feels overworked, so left it there.

Did some hyper extensions to finish
Post workout bodyweight: 15 st 0 lb = 95 kg

Enjoyed tonight's show greatly. Its crazy how Thor the Icelander went from 115 kg @ 19 year old to 190 kg @ 22 year old though !

Strong deads and push press's man. I can't imagine that 100 kg log is far off at all!
