Looks like things are coming along nicely Mr Boar.
I like the addition of the KB farmers and waiter walk type stuff. Leaving no gaps in the training.

Deadlift
60kg x 5
100kg x 5
140kg x 3
180kg x 2
Kept it light, low volume and simple. All reps basically speed reps, so happy

Squat
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 5
Was stiff still from Tues. Thought doing these might help, might not, but we'll see.

DB Row
40.5kg x 10
40.5kg x 10
40.5kg x 10

Barbell Curl
20kg x 10
25kg x 10
30kg x 10

Quick session, low weights, low volume, still suffering from the stupidity of the other 2 days. Doing a months reps in 2 sessions = not great idea Grin
Getting to a point where I need to decide what I want, come up with a plan and actually stick with it.

Some fair volume in those sessions mate. Things seem to be coming along nicely, I see that the weights are creeping up and groin on the mend, happy days!
Especially the squats for higher reps!

As Nails says, those are some good rows too, that's a decent weight to be rowing for that many reps.

Nice deadlifting as always mate. Decent squatting too, decent weight to be repping like that, as you say, even if you don't like them, gotta squat Happy

Nice benching too in what looks like a major session, in fact it looks like an Ox madness of old session Grin.

Hope you are having a good holiday mate

Good session. Happy with the weights and reps. Managed what I planed so all good. That said it won;t be tomorrow if legs are anything to go by, will be hurting tomorrow!! Happy
In fact did more than planned as the workout went quicker than I expected so did the couple of sets at the end

I think over doing rollouts are the worst, that hurts even breathing.

s**t that would be bad. Never fully overdone them, but just doing them makes things tough.

Nice pressing mate and tasty rowing.

A week off for you will be nice mate. Sometimes you just need that week off to keep you in the game longer etc.

nails said:Holy Volume Tazman. I wonder how you will be the day after leg day or if it's particularly bad, the day after, the day after leg day.

Yes looking back it may not have been my best idea Happy

Currently still ok, but every now and then the legs remind that I'm going to be in a world of hurt in the near future.

I fear you may be right mate, feel fine at the moment, but I wager it will get worse as the day progresses Happy
Think I will be using the cubicles with handles if available Grin

Cheers gents. Had a few knee niggles and elbow niggles and also it's school hols. So not done much worth writing, just bits of KB stuff here and there.

First session back after a few weeks, kept it sensible Grin

Squats
60kg x 20
80kg x 10
100kg x 8
110kg x 6
Was planning 120 for 6 but 100 didn't feel great, but 110 wasn't too bad, so maybe should have gone for it?!?!?

SLDL
60kg x 20
100kg x 10
straps
120kg x 8
130kg x 6
Like the squats I played it safe!

Front Squat
40kg x 10
40kg x 10
40kg x 10
Superset with
Leg Curls
20kg x 10
20kg x 10
20kg x 10

Calf Raises
60kg x 15
60kg x 15
60kg x 15
superset with
Leg Extensions
20kg x 12
20kg x 12
20kg x 12

Not done leg curls or extensions for a long time so felt strange doing them. All in all a decent session though with a reasonable amount done. Winner! Happy

Bloody hell, nice lifting there mate.
» Stephen9069 Training Journal (Go to post)09-08-2017 @ 12:36
All looks to be going well mate, squats, pressing and rows looking good.

Good mix of reps and reasonable weight. Little increments here and there add up to longevity and big increases over a year (if only I can follow that advice myself Happy)
» Nails Log (Go to post)09-08-2017 @ 12:32
Bloody good squatting mate and rowing is going great.
Like the no reps left behind on the deadlifts, at the end of the day it's those reps that could make the difference.
