Videos from today:

Hit my target today but the last few reps were just awful. I think I need to switch over to the lifting shoes asap as it's throwing off my form quite a lot. I tried a few reps with heavier weight in the lifting shoes during the accessory work, went ok but my legs were pretty spent by then.

Yeah I must admit that I would like to squat more often. During rugby season I moved onto the 2 day a week in-season template from 5/3/1 For Football, and I added an extra day doing box squats and swiss bar bench press, and to be fair I made good progress. I'm seeing how I do with a day dedicated to each lift again now as 2 main lifts a session was really draining for me and I've had to quit rugby now so no need to only train 2 or 3 days a week.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've had a pretty good results from it. It's the only program I've done really, been on it for about 18 months. I did move onto WS4SB for about 3 months about 9 months in, which I regret.

Had to train straight after work today and that's never a good thing for me on either of the upper body days. Missed my target by a rep, but should probably of just gone for the required reps. I left out the pull ups, face pulls, curls and pushdowns I have been doing as I just didn't have time.

But my form is awful on them Happy

I just thought there are more people over here into just strength training that might be able to give me advice. I've arranaged to go down to OSG on the 23rd of this month to learn the olympic lifts, I bought a load of bumper plates and before I start just throwing them around I'd rather get some guidance, like what I did when I came to train with Martin and you guys, that one day sorted my deadlift and squat out big time.

I keep my log on myprotein but don't seem to get much good advice on there anymore, hopefully some of you beasts will be able to pick up on anything I might be doing wrong and give me some guidance. I've been playing rugby for the last year so my progress was halted by injuries quite a bit, I'm probably not playing again next season due to a sports hernia that affects me when I sprint, but not when I lift thankfully.
