thank you very much! I will be likely attempt 190 next.

Incidentally, i am finding that all of this beltless training is making my abs more jacked but not more aesthetic

are you still allowed to do exercises that indirectly train the shoulder like bench press and chinups?

I got a bench PB yesterday. A cheap rep PB but a PB nevertheless. The first one in years.

Oh yeah actually i do remember when i first started going on sugden (mid 2011) you were already being accused of ruining sugden. I remember once making a joke about not benching because it was a stupid exercise and someone "being tired" of "people" talking s**t about the bench press as an exercise loal.

I definitely think theres a school of thought that sugden started to go down the s**tter when i started posting

I'm alright thanks Jacque, how are you good sir?
I'm considerably less jacked now. After attempts to get back into the swing of things late last year following my bicep tear, I just realised my heart wasn't really in it anymore.
That and other life circumstances meant it wasn't ideal to stay on that path so I made the very difficult decision to retire from heavy lifting and focus exclusively on getting lighter, leaner and fitter.
I'm currently 134kg which is 26kg down since last August and continuing to diet down until whatever point I'm lean enough to justify putting some good mass back on. I reckon I'll need to get down to the 110-115kg mark before I start to really lean out.
I started BJJ a few months ago which I'm absolutely loving, it's a totally different direction for me and its done me the world of good. Not to mention combined with a healthy diet absolutely melts fat. Once I've got enough experience to string a game together then I'll be looking to compete in that.

Its good to hear that youre doing a thing and getting lighter and leaner, which I believe is a way better existence. People who get into BJJ seem to really enjoy it, thats for sure.

bench (with new grip of middle finger on the rings)

bar
40
60
80

87.5kg x 8,8,18 - definitely an all time bench PB that!

bulgarian split squat

100kg x 5,5,5

chinups

+15kg x 20
12,10

If i put that 87.5kg x 18 into the 1rm calculation it tells me 139.994 or something!!

I'm quite enjoying these touch and go deadlifts.

I must say though, on the 200 for 10 i almost gave up once i got to about rep 6 or 7 but knew I'd hate myself for the rest of the week if I did so I carried on for 10. The last 2 reps were pretty disgusting
