To the left (like a gentleman).
Now a question for you young Sir!
If wearing boxer shorts with no built in flaps to gain access to your John Thomas, when going for a number one (assuming you're standing), do you:
  • Pull the waistband down and pop out over the top for access?
  • Pull the bottom of one of the legs of said boxer shorts out (depending on how your dress of course) and gain access from the dangling position?

The first option. The second one sounds very strange.

Do you put your trousers on before your socks or socks before trousers?

You're getting around to asking him if he dresses to the left or right aren't you?

Do you dress to the left or the right Macca?

He might even be able to sort it out using pointing as his only means of communication.

I did however play the biggest gig of my life so far last night, supporting the legendary Greek band Nightstalker. That was very enjoyable I tell you

We have a white board in the club and someone brought in some markers with which to write on it. Unfortunately one of these markers was of the permanent variety and some imbecilic dolt* wrote on the board with it. At some point over the weekend someone has cleaned the board and made a damned good job of it. No-one seems to know who this kindly person was but he / she has our thanks.

*It was me. I wrote on it

What did you write on it? There is a white board at my gym too which doesn't get used for anything in particular except from me writing things that I think are funny on it.

Tonight I am out on the town, regular gentle readers will recall that about two years ago I went to a school reunion and I expressed the sentiment that while worthwhile I had no desire to do it again. And here I am doing it again
The reunion caused the creation of a facebook page which has attracted some people who were not contactable before and some of them will be there.
The venue is very local to me and there is no difficulty in getting there or in parking.
There is no reason to not go.
The most famous of my school year is unquestionably Matt Aitken of Stock, Aitken and Waterman fame, the second could well be the fellow I used to run quizzes with (Garth) who was for a time the bass player in the Buzzcocks (who were founded by Pete Shelley who was in the year below me at the same school, although he was Pete McNeish then). Anyway said bass player is now in another band and they are turning up to play.
Although I have known Garth for many years and long been aware of his musical history, I have never actually heard him play. Well that will change tonight.

That is a very enjoyable story.
