Dan John complex 5 reps each of: Row power clean front squat push press back squat good morning 20kg, 40kg, 60kg Dumbell overhead One of the events in I've got on 18th June is max reps dumbell floor to overhead with a 42kg dumbell. For some reason they've only told us 2 of the 4 events. 25kg 1x5 each hand 35kg 1x3 each hand 42kg 3x4 eah hand Much easier on the right than the left. farmer's walk 60kg each hand for two lots of about 10m. Really hard, my grip endurance if that is the word, is poor. Pull ups and stretch | |||

7th june Snatch Doubles upto 80kg 85 90x1x2 95 missx2 Jerk from blocks doubles up to 115 120 125 missx3. Really close on all 3. 1 arm deadlift Got a strongman thing on 18th june. This is one of the events. Got up to 120kg before grip became an issue. | |||

Been off line for a couple days. It's cool to see some responses Wigan - that's right, I train with mark Beck. He's the poor guy who taught me how to oly lift and took hours correcting my endless mistakes Mishima - been lifting for about three years but mainly squat, deadlift, press. Started doing oly more regularly when i quit judo a couple years ago (too many shoulder injuries) Smalls - train at the leisure centre. No bumpers so I just lift light. However they have rubber dumbbells upto 60kg | |||

Thanks for the input guys. Smalls, I train at crossfit manchester, which is in Bredbury. Although it's crossfit, we've got a seperate lifting club with some decent lifters (not me, obviously) I get there twice a week for my heavy days. My lighter days I train at my local leisure centre in moss side. 3rd June Clean and Jerk Power clean and 2 jerk up tp 100kg 110kgx1x3 115 120 miss jerk x2 Overhead press Warm up 48x5 55x3 61x5 Deadlift Warmup 151x5 172x3 192x1. Was expecting a triple here. Pull ups and stretching. | |||

Total 945m We call this the "sale sharks row", as in the rugby team. Apparently this is one of their conditioning drills. Horrible. | |||

I have a tendency to have my hips behind the bar. 120 clean is pretty easy for me. Press 20x10 30x5 40x5 47.5x5 55x9 My upper body strength is rubbish as you can see.
