» Post a typical days eating (Go to post)10-09-2012 @ 18:12
3 squares a day and a big shake after training.

Each meal is made up of some variation of the following:

protein: eggs/ beef/ lamb/ chicken/ pork/ fish/ mince
carbs: rice/ potato/ sweet potato
veggies: onion/ carrot/ beans/ cabbage/ spinach/ peppers/ tomato/ lentils
Fats to cook: lard/ butter/ coconut oil/ ghee
Bit of fruit on side.

Pretty much everything i make is home cooked but I tend to make a truck load at a time and don't mind having the same meal 3 times in a day.

» worst pain you ever felt (Go to post)09-09-2012 @ 09:10
Back when i used to thai box I lost a fight on leg kicks. I had to walk with a stick due to the haemotoma (blood clot) in my left thigh (looked like a f**king idiot) and couldn't sleep even maxed out on painkillers. I was advised to go and see this little thai fella who used his elbow to break the blood clot into little pieces to get rid of it faster. It was so painful it hurts just to think about it. A day later it was gone

Burky said:How is the new place in Pear mill Pete?

It's really good Burky. It looks a bit like Greg Everett's place, if that means anything to you. Only trouble is I now live in Prestwich so it's miles away and having to do a load of OT to pay to do up the new gaff, so not there as often as I'd like.
