5th July Snatch Very strange session. Doubles up to 80 85 90 x 1. 3 misses. Was gonna call it a day but decided to get reckless. 100. caught it and lost it on the way up 102 (pb) 105. caught it and lost it on the way up 106. missed behind. Makes no sense at all. None of them felt heavy, once i sort out my bottom position 110 can't be too far away. Snatch pull 100:3x3 Back Squat 134: 4x3;1x4 Pullups and stretching | |||

2nd July Clean & Jerk Doubles up to 100kg 110 115 120 125 miss x2. Very close with the 1st attempt. Had it locked overhead and back foot slipped. lots of loud profanity. Clean pull 130: 3x3 Front Squat 112kg: 5x3 pullups and stretch | |||

23rd june Snatch balance doubles upto 80kg 90 95 100 missx2 My bottom position on snatch needs alot of work Push press 80kg: 4x3; 1x5 Gonna go up 1kg/ week and max the last set each time. Straight leg deadlift 90kg: 3x5 Start off easy and work up. Look forward to hammy soreness Conditioning and stretch | |||

22nd June Went to a bikram yoga class. Yes, that's right, hot yoga. Not sure if it belongs in a strength training log but there we go. A mate from work put me onto it and it does wonders for my back and shoulders. | |||

17th June Had enough of not lifting so hit the gym. Worked around my finger so no cleans or pulls. Snatch Worked up to 80kg for 3 doubles Jerk from blocks Doubles up to 120kg 125kg 130kg (pb) 135 kg missx2 Very nearly got the first attempt at 135. Really should have gone 132 or so but was feeling cocky. Back Squat Warm up 104x5 120x5 136x6 Finish with stretch | |||

9th June Managed to fracture a finger playing basketball at work. Had to pull out of my comp for next weekend. Looks like it'll be squats and sprints for the next couple of weeks. |
