Todays session was dogger nothing clicked and just felt gash Log 70 x 3 80 x 3 90 x 1 100 x 1 f 100 x f the split jerk wasn't right I'd sort of invented my own version so lowered weight and got technique right 90 x 3 90 x 3 90 x 3 100 x 3 100 x 3 110 x f think I was just tired after the sets and pressed 3 times last week and think this had an effect Hang snatch 40 x 5 rubbish were slow no snap and technique was again gash 40 x 8 got the snap and hip drive sorted Clean pulls 80 x 5 120 x 5 140 x 5 Behind head smith machine lockouts 2 sets of 10

ranathari said: Averages. BMI is valid when you're using it for millions of people at once, not the 10% who fall outside the normal distribution. That's why slagging it off based on "oh it doesn't work for me or for my mates" is wrong. What's average about strength athletes though? Its a thread about strength athletes not the average person been overweight

Your overweight when you feel your weight stops you from performing your best

Thanks james thought it was time to repay the favour after many weeks of you in squat briefs Todays training Strict press Warm ups Bar 40kg 60kg Work sets 80 x 5 90 x 4 85 x 5 (sleeves on) 80 x 5 (sleeves on) 60 x 5 paused at the bottom and exploding up Felt gash but was third bit of pressing this week so no too bothered Fat grip rows 12 12 8 8 Back went and last rep somehow and is niggling like f**k Lat pulldowns 12 12 9 some forced reps here which was annoying Rope pushdowns 12 12 10 8 Overhead rope extensions 12 12 Preacher curls 20 20 Couldn't do a lot of bicep work because of wrist Overall not a brilliant session

JC said: OSG! If you & Robbo split the petty...cant be too pricey? We're training events twice a week so it does get pricey but we will defo have to get down for some quality sessions. I do like training at OSG its just full of drug dealers not kids haha.

Todays training Strict log 40kg x 5 70kg x 5 75kg x 5 80kg x 4 85kg x 3 90kg x 1 92.5kg x 1 (with sleeves) Fingals finger Just the one rep was hard enough but enjoyed this and look forward to doing it agaim Farmers 60kg x 20m 100kg x 20m 100kg x 20m 100kg x 40m (with drop to turn around) Last time did farmers I tore skin off on my hand so felt wary at first but quickly grew my testicles back Caged steel was a joke. Its not brilliant training with little schoolkids running around getting in the way.
